Install

One command installs the ushr binaries on macOS or Linux, on arm64 or x86_64.

curl -fsSL https://get.ushr.io | sh

The script downloads the latest release for your OS and architecture. It checks each download against the published SHA-256 checksum. Then it installs ushr, ushr-agent and ushr-controller into ~/.local/bin.

Options

USHR_PREFIXInstall directory. Default ~/.local/bin.
GITHUB_TOKENWhen set, the script downloads from the GitHub API instead of get.ushr.io.
curl -fsSL https://get.ushr.io | USHR_PREFIX=/opt/ushr/bin sh

Make sure the install directory is on your PATH. Check the install with ushr version.

The service definitions run ~/.local/bin/ushr-agent. Keep the default prefix on runner hosts.

Update the CLI

Run the install command again. It replaces all three binaries. On hosted hosts, the dashboard can also update the agent for you. See Managed agent updates.
